Rexer & Co Pty Ltd (Rexer) collects, holds, and uses personal information in the course of providing watch acquisition, consignment, finance brokerage, and related services. We hold this information in confidence, share it only as required by the engagement, and apply commercially reasonable safeguards.
1. What we collect
Personal details you provide (name, email, phone, country, postal address), details of the timepieces you discuss with us, photographs and provenance documents you upload, payment instructions where relevant, and identification documents required for AML/KYC.
2. How we use it
To advise on, value, acquire, or sell timepieces; to introduce you to a finance broker where requested; to comply with our legal obligations under Australian dealer licensing and AML/CTF rules; and to keep our records of past transactions.
3. Who we share it with
Authorised employees and contractors who need it to perform our services. Logistics, insurance, and watchmaking partners only where required for the engagement. Loan Garage and the lender panel where you request finance. Government bodies where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.
4. How we hold it
In access-controlled systems with encryption in transit and at rest. Records are retained for the period required by Australian law and as needed for the relationship.
5. Your rights
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it where we are not required to retain it. Write to privacy@rexer.com.au and we will respond within thirty days.
6. Cookies
This website uses a small number of essential cookies. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
7. Complaints
If you are concerned about how we have handled your information, please write to us first. If we do not resolve it, you may approach the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
