1. The parties
These terms govern engagements between Rexer & Co Pty Ltd (Rexer, we, our, us) and you. By using this website, requesting a valuation, or buying, selling, or consigning a timepiece with us, you agree to these terms.
2. Our standing
Rexer is a licensed second-hand luxury dealer in Australia under licence SHD-17968. We do not represent or affiliate with any watch brand. Trade marks are the property of their respective owners and are used here for identification only.
3. Listings
Specifications and prices on this site are subject to change without notice. While we take reasonable care to be accurate, the descriptive copy and images are a guide. Each piece is offered subject to availability and final inspection. Photographs are representative.
4. Acquisition
A binding sale is formed when we issue a written confirmation of order and receive cleared funds. Delivery is by insured courier. Risk passes on delivery. Title passes on cleared funds.
5. Authentication
We authenticate every piece in residence. We can arrange independent watchmaker review on request. Our authentication is given in good faith on the information available; it is not a manufacturer warranty.
6. Sale to Rexer
A sale to us is formed when we issue a quote and you sign and return it. Payment is made by direct transfer in cleared funds, typically within twenty-four hours of receipt and inspection.
7. Consignment
A consignment is formed by signed agreement that records the agreed marketing price, our fee (seven percent), the period of the consignment, and the conditions for return. The piece remains your property until sold and settled. We hold the piece in insured storage.
8. Finance
Rexer Finance is a referral. The credit is provided by third-party lenders introduced by Loan Garage, a division of Third Vision Group and Finance Lane, Credit Representative 461680 of Australian Credit License number 384704. Rexer is not the credit provider. Lending is subject to the lender's terms and your acceptance.
9. Returns and remedies
Inspection should occur on receipt. Misdescription is corrected by repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion. Australian Consumer Law rights are not excluded. The discretionary remedies above sit alongside, not instead of, those rights.
10. Limitation
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the price paid for the piece. We are not liable for consequential or indirect loss.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
