Tell us what you have. We will put a figure to it.
Brand and reference, condition as you find it, and photographs if you have them. The more accurate the detail, the closer the first figure lands.
- ·The reference is stamped between the lugs at six o'clock, and printed on the papers. If you cannot find it, leave it — the model and a photograph are enough.
- · Photograph the dial straight on, the case back, and the clasp. Daylight, no flash.
- · Tell us what is wrong as well as what is right. Nothing you disclose lowers the figure — it only makes it firm sooner.
Questions, answered
How is my watch valued?
Against the live market, not a book price. We read recent sales across our own floor and the private networks we trade in, weigh condition, provenance and timing, and put the figure to you in writing — with the reasoning, line by line.
Should I sell outright, or consign?
Outright is the faster settlement: a signed quote, cleared funds within twenty-four hours. Consignment usually returns more, because the piece sells at retail rather than to us — but it asks for patience. If a piece is better consigned, we say so at the valuation.
Do I need the original box and papers?
No. A full set strengthens the figure — papers in particular — but we buy watches on their merits. Service records, spare links and receipts all help; bring whatever you have and we will read the piece itself.
What does it cost to sell?
Nothing. An outright sale carries no fee: we buy the piece, and the figure on your signed quote is the figure that lands. If you consign instead, the fee is seven percent — shown line by line on the statement.
When am I paid?
Cleared funds within twenty-four hours of signing, by direct transfer. One payment, in full — we do not stage settlements.
I cannot get to an office. How does distance work?
We arrange collection from your address — tracked at every leg, photographed on receipt. The valuation is confirmed within twenty-four hours of arrival, and if you choose not to proceed the piece returns the same way.
What if I decline the offer?
Nothing follows. A valuation carries no obligation and no fee, and the piece comes back to you insured. If you return to us later, we simply value it again at the day's market.
Which brands do you buy?
The established houses — Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Cartier, Omega and their peers — and exceptional pieces beyond them. We are interested in all Swiss brands. If you are unsure, send the reference through the form above. It costs nothing to ask.
Or, at your hand
Considering consignment instead?
Two paths to value, one relationship. If you can wait a little longer, consignment often returns more — the piece sells at retail, and the margin is yours.
